Zigozis – means for treatment of a round ulcer and a gastroesophageal reflux disease. Indications

• reflux esophagitis of average and heavy degree;
• duodenum ulcer;
• stomach ulcer;
• Zollinger Ellison's syndrome and other hyper secretory morbid conditions.

Structure

• active ingredient: pantoprazol;
• 1 bottle contains 45.11 mg of a pantoprazol of sodium of sexivihydrat that is equivalent to 40 mg of a pantoprazol;
• other components: dinatrium edetat, sodium hydroxide.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to active agent, derivatives of benzimidazole and to any component of drug. Pantoprazol, as well as other inhibitors of the proton pump, it is contraindicated to apply with atazanaviry.

Route of administration

Reflux esophagitis, a duodenum ulcer, stomach ulcer

Recommended dose makes 40 mg of a pantoprazol (1 bottle) a day intravenously.

Treatment of a syndrome of Zollinger Ellison and other hyper secretory morbid conditions

For long-term treatment of a syndrome of Zollinger Ellison and other hyper secretory morbid conditions the recommended initial medicament dose Zigozis makes 80 mg a day. If necessary the dose can be titrated, increasing or reducing, depending on indicators of secretion of acid in a stomach. The doses exceeding 80 mg/days should be divided into two introductions. Perhaps temporary increase in a dose of a pantoprazol up to 160 mg, but duration of use has to be limited only to the period necessary for adequate control of secretion of acid.

Feature of use

to Patients with heavy abnormal liver functions needs to control the level of liver enzymes regularly. At increase in level of liver enzymes the medicament treatment needs to be stopped.

Pregnant

as a precautionary measure should avoid medicament Zigozis use to pregnant women.

Children

Zigozis, the lyophilized powder for solution for injections, children are not recommended to apply (up to 18 years) as data on safety and efficiency of use of medicament for this age category are limited.

Drivers

Pantoprazol does not influence or has very insignificant impact on speed of response at control of motor transport or other mechanisms.

Dose up to 240 mg, entered intravenously within 2 minutes, were well transferred. As pantoprazol extensively contacts blood proteins, it does not belong to the medicaments which are easily removed by means of dialysis.

Side effects

from blood and lymphatic system: agranulocytosis, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, pancytopenia.

from the immune system of hypersensitivity reaction (including anaphylactic reactions, an acute anaphylaxis).

Metabolism and disbolism: lipidemia and increase in level of lipids (triglycerides, cholesterol); change of body weight, hyponatremia, hypomagnesiemia, hypocalcemia, hypopotassemia.
