Structure

Active ingredient: dienogest;

1 tablet contains the diyenogest 2 mg;

Excipients: lactose, potato starch, cellulose microcrystalline, K 25 povidone, talc, krospovidon, magnesium stearate.

Contraindication

Drug Vizan should not be used in the presence of any of following states or diseases. This information is partially obtained on the basis of use of other medicines containing only progestogen. If any of these states or diseases arises for the first time during use of the medicine Vizan, administration of medicament should be stopped immediately.

• Venous thrombembolia in an active form.
• Arterial or cardiovascular diseases in the anamnesis (for example a myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular an event, coronary heart disease).
• Diabetes with defeat of vessels.
• Serious illness of a liver now or their existence in the anamnesis, so far indicators of function of a liver not to norm.
• Tumour of a liver in the anamnesis (benign or malignant).
• Or expected malignant tumors dependent on sex hormones.
• Vaginal bleeding of not clear etiology.
• Hypersensitivity to active ingredient or to any of medicine components.

In case of the admission of reception of one or several pill it is necessary to take 1 tablet as soon as the woman remembers it, and following to accept in usual time. Similarly, the tablet which was not absorbed through vomiting or diarrhea should be replaced with other tablet.

Overdose

Research of acute toxicity, carried out with diyenogesty, did not point out risk of development of acute side reactions in case of inadvertent reception of several daily therapeutic doses. No specific antidotes exist. Use of 20-30 mg of the diyenogest to day (that is 10-15 times higher, than a dose in a medicine Vizan tablet) within more than 24 weeks were transferred very well.

Increase in body weight, suppressed mood, a sleep disorder, nervousness, decrease in a libido, changes of mood, a headache, migraine, nausea, an abdominal pain, a meteorism, an abdominal distension, vomiting, an acne, an alopecia, a dorsodynia, discomfort in mammary glands, a cyst of ovaries, inflows, uterine / vaginal bleedings, asthenic states, irritability.

Interaction

Proceeding from these researches of inhibition in vitro, is improbable development of clinically significant interaction of Vizanna with metabolism of other medicinal substances with participation of enzymes of a system of P450 cytochrome.

Reception of gestagen can affect results of some laboratory researches, including biochemical parameters of function of a liver, thyroid gland, adrenal glands and kidneys, plasma concentration of proteins, for example, of fraction of lipids/lipoproteids, parameters of carbohydrate metabolism and parameters of coagulation. Changes usually do not overstep the bounds of normal values.
