VetExpert CardioVet - Medicine for support of a cardiac muscle at dogs

Medicine is intended for adult dogs with problems of a cardiovascular system. It can be used as addition in the main drug treatment and as mono medicine at early stages of diseases of a cardiovascular system.

Main indications for use of medicine are a cardiomyopathy (the damage of a cardiac muscle which is characterized by dystrophic and sclerous processes in tissues of heart, the progressing heart failure and arrhythmia) and endokardioz (a degenerative disease of valves of heart, generally mitralny valve).
Medicine allows to regulate calcium level in blood that prevents formation of plaques on walls of valves, regulates the frequency of reductions of a cardiac muscle, has antiarrhythmic effect.
Before use of medicine is recommended to consult with the veterinarian.

Main operating components of medicine are:

L-the carnitine quarternary amine consisting of a lysine and methionine. Its main function - metabolism of long-chain fatty acids and products of energy. 95% of the general carnitine of the attendee in an organism, are in a myocardium that proves that one of its functions - ensuring energy for constant pump action of the heart. Addition of a L-carnitine can help to protect a myocardium from superfluous accumulations of fatty acids in cells of a myocardium.
Taurine - one of important substances for healthy metabolism of heart. It plays a key role in metabolism of a myocardium by regulation of levels of ions of calcium and osmotic potential, neutralization of free radicals. It also makes 40% of free amino acids in a myocardium. Taurine has antiarrhytmic properties, it regulates the number of warm reductions depending on the level of ions of calcium and also it provides integrity of cells of a myocardium.
Coenzyme Q10 (ubikhinon) - important for process of products of energy in an organism. It is also natural antioxidant in mitochondrions where, thanks to intensive products of energy necessary for work of heart, a large number of free radicals is made.
Selenium an integrated part of enzyme peroxidase glutathione which is involved in antioxidant mechanisms. Its functions strongly depend on vitamin E. The main function of selenium is to prevent effects of an oxidizing stress which is one of key elements of pathogenesis of a dilatatsionny cardiomyopathy.
Vitamin E (in combination with selenium) is a strong antioxidant, it protects from excessive reduction of cages warm an endothelium. Vitamin E also reduces adhesion and aggregation of platelets in coronary arteries that promotes a blood stream through the vessels feeding heart.

Structure : A L-carnitine tartrate, Coenzyme Q10 (including a L-carnitine), Vitamin E, taurine.

Dosage:
- dogs with body weight to 15 kg - 1 tablet twice a day.
- dogs with body weight more than 15 kg - 2 tablets twice a day.
In cases when the weight of dogs exceeds 40 kg, the veterinarian can increase a dosage.
