Mission No. X (Russian. Mission No. 10) — the tenth studio album of the U.D.O. group which left in 2005.
Work on Mission No. X went from December, 2004 to spring of 2005, despite rumors about reunion of Accept with which Udo Dirkschneider made a small tour. An album was recorded with the new drummer Francesco Giovino as Lorenzo Milani was forced to stop career in connection with the death of the sister and need of education of her children.
according to Dirkschneider "tells 70% of lyrics of this album about our music. We are engaged in Chem what life we lead. The Way of Life song an ideal example of the story about our life and about our lifestyle.". Generally on a disk typical rocknroll subject: "24/7" about people who plow day and night, seven days a week, "Mission Number X" the song about ambitions of participants of group and their music, "Mad for Crazy" and "Shellshock Fever" "generally about ourselves, mad children". "Cry Soldier Cry" is an anti-war song. On an album the new version of the Way of Life song from No Limits album as Dirkschneider after time considered the song, as well as all album No Limits excessively varnished entered.
B group went 2006 to a world tour.
Album was implemented by AFM Records on a compact disk (CD: AFM 095-2) and in limited release (AFM 095-9)[3], reached 72 places in charts of Germany. To an album the single "24/7" was released on June 27, 2005 (Mean Streets (single version)/Number For A Number/Scream Killers, Hardcore Lover CD: AFM 095-5) which for the first time for all history both U.D.O., and Accept, got to national charts. On composition of Mean Streets the video was shot.
B was released 2007 maxi - the single "The Wrong Side Of Midnight" which included completely Russian-language version of the Cry Soldier Cry song [4].
