Turusol is applied in the form of irrigational solution at endoscopic operations and diagnostic procedures: transurethral prostatectomy and other transurethral surgical procedures, hysteroscopy, arthroscopy.

in a liver with formation of a glycogen and excreted by kidneys. as sorbitol takes part in metabolism of a lactate from pyruvate, absorption of sorbitol causes slight increase of level of a lactate in blood plasma, however this concentration of a lactate is not enough for development of acidosis. in case of medicine absorption its components are quickly excreted by kidneys.

Use

At use of medicine turusol use a sterile system for single use. the recommended container height over the level of the surgery field - is not higher than 60 cm, the possibility of intravascular absorption of medicine thereby is minimized. the amount of the used medicine depends on volume and duration of surgery.

at intravascular absorption of medicine which is shown by dryness in a mouth, thirst, arterial hypotension, tachycardia, nausea, vomiting.

Special instructions

With care use medicament at diseases of a cardiovascular system, a renal failure.

Researches concerning Turusol's application during pregnancy and feeding by a breast was not carried out therefore do not recommend to use medicament during this period.

Overdose

can lead Fast introduction of medicine in a dose of 5000 ml to increase in volume of extracellular liquid, a hyponatremia and hyperpotassemia and also to a heart overload volume, especially at opn or hpn, dehydration.
