"Stranded in the Jungle" - the song is initially recorded by American du-uop The Jay Hawks group. It was written by Ernestine Smith and the first tenor of group James Johnson.
Record of cover versions of modern songs was standard branch practice in 1940th and 1950th. The hit song could generate a set of various versions: pop music and instrumental music, the Pole, blues, hillbill and others, created by different performers. American du-uop The Cadets group was the first who made a cover on a hit The Jay Hawks, but also The Gadabouts lagged not far behind. All three groups were actors of one hit, and "Stranded in the Jungle" became the only hit in top-40 for any of them. The Rhythm Rockets and The Johnston Brothers also rehashed it in 1956.
"Stranded in the Jungle" of The Cadets probably the most known version.
