"Ticket to Ride" is the song of The Beatles group for the first time released in the form of a single on April 9, 1965, which entered also an album "Help!". In 2004 the song took the 384th position in the rating of "500 greatest songs of all times" according to the Rolling Stone magazine. Pesnya sounds as well in the movie "To the Aid!".
Pesnya was written by John Lennon (it is attributed as it usually became, to Lennon and McCartney in spite of the fact that McCartneys contribution to this song remains undecided). According to Lennon, McCartneys contribution was limited only to "that manner which Ringo played percussions". However, McCartney noted that they "wrote this song together … We sat down and worked on it full three hours".

After disintegration of The Beatles Lennon with pride said that the composition of "Ticket to Ride" was a forerunner of a genre "heavy-metal" because of the hooting bass, often repeating percussions and the overloaded guitar parties.
