FGG Productions which created The Strangeloves group later). The track originally intended as a demo for The Shirelles group. Singl spent three weeks at No. 1 in a chart of Billboard Hot 100 and reached No. 2 in R & B Billboard.
Musicians: Herbie Lovell is drums, Billey Butler, Bobbie Komstok and Al Gorgoni - guitars and also Bob Bushnell - a bass. Young Ronni Dio on wind instruments is also involved in this song. Feldman, Goldstein and Gotterer were also a producer of some early works of Dio with the Ronnie Dio & The Prophets group.
Idea of a song came to Bob Feldman who eavesdropped on the girls conversation from high school and the guy whom she rejected.
Billboard placed the song at No. 24 in the list of 100 greatest songs of female groups of all times. Plastinks
