Ingredients:

Active ingredients: 1 g of paste contains: boric acid — 0.07 g; pyroborate sodium — 0.07 g; salicylic acid — 0.014 g; oxide zinc — 0.25 g; hexamethylenetetramine — 0.035 g; formaldehyde solution — 0.035 g; acetate lead — 0.003 g; peppermint oils — 0.003 g;

excipients: the water purified, emulsifier No. 1, talc, glycerin.

Main physical and chemical properties: homogeneous mass of white color or with slightly grayish shade, a pleasant smell. In the course of storage perhaps vystupany liquids on a product surface.

Property of medicine are caused by the active components which are its part. Boric acid, sodium pyroborate have antiseptic action, salicylic acid — antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and keratoplastichesky action; zinc oxide and lead acetate — the adsorbing, antimicrobial, knitting action; hexamethylenetetramine and formaldehyde — the disinfecting, antimicrobial, antifungal and deodorizing action; the menthol (which is a part of oil of a peppermint) — the cooling, vasodilating action.

As salicylic acid is a part of medicine, Teymurov's Paste should not be combined with oral administration of the medicines containing acetylsalicylic acid and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Not to apply together with benzoyl-peroxide and local retinoids.

Salicylic acid can increase permeability of skin for other medicines for topical administration and by that to increase their hits in an organism. Besides, salicylic acid can strengthen undesirable action of a methotrexate and hypoglycemic effect of oral antidiabetic medicines — sulphonylurea derivatives.
