Structure

Active ingredient: Trazodonum hydrochloride;

1 tablet contains Trazodonum of a hydrochloride 75 mg or 150 mg;

Excipients: sucrose, wax of karnaubskiya, povidone, magnesium stearate.

Contraindication

• Hypersensitivity to medicament or to its components.
• Drunkenness and intoxication sleeping medicines.
• Acute myocardial infarction.

Route of administration

to use Drug only the adult.

Tablet with two parallel risks on a surface can be divided into three parts for a possibility of gradual increase in a dose depending on disease severity, body weight, age and the general condition of the patient.

Overdose

drowsiness, dizziness, nausea and vomiting. In difficult cases there were a coma, tachycardia, arterial hypotension, a hyponatremia, spasms and respiratory insufficiency.

Symptomatology from heart can include bradycardia, lengthening of an interval of QT and polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (torsade de pointes).

Symptoms can appear within 24 hours after overdose or later.

overdose Treatment. Specific antidote does not exist. Adults who accepted more than 1 g Trazodonum or to children who accepted more than 150 mg Trazodonum should give activated carbon within 1 hour after overdose detection. In other cases the adults can have reasonable a gastric lavage within 1 hour after reception of doses, potentially life-threatening.

Side effects

It was reported about cases of orientation of suicide thinking and suicide behavior during therapy by Trazodonum or soon after its termination.

Also at the patients receiving therapy by Trazodonum registered the following symptoms some of which often meet in case of not treated depression.

Interaction

At simultaneous use from fenotiazina, for example such as Chlorpromazinum, Fluphenazin, levomepromazinum, Perfenazinum, observed cases of developing of heavy orthostatic hypotension.

Sedations of alcohol under influence by Trazodonum become more expressed. During therapy by Trazodonum the patient has to avoid alcohol intake.
