Pharmacological properties
Hexetidinum — an orofaringealny antiseptic agent of a wide range of antibacterial and antifungal action. it is effective concerning gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, mushrooms (including candida albicans).
At topical administration the active concentration of Hexetidinum remains on a mucous membrane of a mouth and throat and also in a dental plaque for 8–10 h, in some cases — up to 65 h
Indication
Infectious and inflammatory diseases of a mucous membrane of an oral cavity and throat: stomatitis, ulitis, periodontal disease, alveolitis, glossitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, aphthous stomatitis. candidiasis (thrush) and other fungus diseases of an oral cavity. prevention of complications before surgical interventions in an oral cavity, including at tonsilectomy. hygiene of an oral cavity. halitosis.
Use Stomatidin of 0.1% solution is intended toby
only for topical administration.
Adults and children are more senior than 6 years: carry out rinsing of an oral cavity or throat of 10-15 ml of solution (1 tablespoon) during 30 with, repeating the procedure 2–3 times a day after meal. Use during pregnancy and feeding by a breast. system absorption of Hexetidinum at topical administration of a stomatidin so insignificant that undesirable influence on a fruit during pregnancy or on the child during feeding by a breast is improbable. but use of medicament during pregnancy and feeding by a breast perhaps if, according to the doctor, the expected positive effect for mother exceeds potential risk for the fruit/child.
Children. Stomatidin at children aged is not recommended to apply is younger than 6 years.
Drug does not affect ability of patients to run vehicles or to work with potentially dangerous mechanisms.
