Universal replacement ballpoint pen refill Fisher Space Pen fits all Fisher pens, as well as Parker pens and most other regular pens.

The writing ball of the pen is made of tungsten carbide and is very precisely installed in the tip of the pen to avoid leakage. The ink is thixotropic - solid in its normal state, it liquefies when writing. The ink itself is contained in a special cartridge under compressed nitrogen pressure, which is separated from the ink by a sliding float.

The Fisher Space Pen refill lasts three times longer than a regular ballpoint pen refill.
