Released on a single, rose up to 2 in Billboard Hot 100 and became some kind of biker anthem of the end of the 1960th — the beginnings of the 1970th years after sounded in the cult movie "Careless Goer" <(1969).br> This song sometimes call the first heavy and metal owing to the fact that the line of "heavy metal thunder" from it gave the name to a genre of rock music [7]. Though this statement is challenged (the book by William Burroughs of Nova Express where this phrase also met appeared two years earlier), nevertheless "Born to Be Wild" became the first song in which the phrase "heavy metal" was heard.
