Spray nasal "Snup ^® " is shown to application:

• for symptomatic treatment of congestion of a nose at cold, hay fever, at other allergic rhinitises, sinusitis;
• for simplification of outflow of a secret at diseases of adnexal bosoms of a nose;
• as auxiliary therapy at average otitis (for elimination of hypostasis of a mucous membrane);
• for simplification of carrying out a rinoskopiya.

Structure

Active ingredient - xylomethazolinum a hydrochloride (1 ml of solution contains 0.5 mg of xylomethazolinum of a hydrochloride).

Excipients: potassium dihydrophosphate, the sea water, water purified.

Contraindication

Spray nasal "Snup ^® " should not be applied in the following cases:

• hypersensitivity to xylomethazolinum or to any other component of medicine, sharp coronary diseases, coronary asthma, a hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, transfenoidalny hypophysectomy and surgical interventions with exposure of a meninx in the anamnesis, dry rhinitis (rhinitis sicca) or atrophic rhinitis;
• accompanying treatment by MAO inhibitors and within 2 weeks after the termination of their application.

Route of administration

Recommended dosage:

• to children aged from the 1st year up to 5 years (under supervision of adults) - on one injection in each nostril 1-2 times a day (in 8-10 hours), but no more than 3 times in each nasal course in day;
• to children aged from 6 up to 11 years (under supervision of adults) - on 1-2 injections in each nasal course 2-3 times a day to apply no more than 3 times in each nasal course in day.

Duration of treatment depends on a course of the disease and should not exceed 7-10 days in a row.
