The Sera Nitrate-Test (NO3) test just allows easily and to determine the level of content of nitrates in fresh and sea water. As nitrates pollute water and are harmful and hazardous to health of fishes, it is necessary to determine their level in time and as soon as possible to result it in norm. Sera Nitrate-Test (NO3) is the most exact and fast testing which to allow to maintain activity of fishes.

High concentration of nitrates (more than 50 mg/l) on the one hand slows down growth and development of fishes and plants; with another – promotes growth of various microscopic seaweed causing water blossoming. Therefore we recommend to you to have always information on the level of content of nitrates in an aquarium or a garden pond. You can lower the level of content of nitrates by means of additional landing of fast-growing plants; using the filter with the small flow rate and a filter material of Sera Siporax Professional and/or making more frequent substitutions of water (in case the used water from under the crane has the low level of content of nitrates)

1. measured to a ditch the tested (checked) water several times. Fill measured to a ditch with the tested water to a mark of 10 ml. Then carefully wipe dry an outer surface ditches.
2. Add 6 drops of reagent 1 and stir up to a ditch until liquid doesn't become uniform.
3. Add 6 drops of reagent 2 and stir up to a ditch until liquid doesn't become uniform.
4. Add one measured spoon (red color) of reagent 3 to measured to a ditch.

7. In five minutes compare color of the tested liquid with a color on the enclosed chromatic scale. For this purpose it is necessary to deliver to a ditch on the white field near a chromatic scale and to look at it from above at day natural lighting. Avoid direct hit of sunlight.
8. Cleaning: before the beginning and after the end of testing the ditch needs to wash measured with flowing water. After the use of a bottle with reagents it is dense to close, without confusing caps.
