Effect of medicine is caused by properties of its components. biologically active agents of extracts of a valerian and motherwort (essential oils, saponins, alkaloids, tannins) favorably affect functional activity of central nervous system and autonomic nervous system, showing mainly sedative, anxiolytic and spasmolytic action; regulate warm activity, lower arterial blood pressure and chss; quash sensation of fear, mental strain, improve backfilling and structure of a dream. pharmacological properties of extract of a hawthorn are caused by existence of flavonoids, sincaline, acetylcholine, phytosterols, triterpenovy acids. extract of a hawthorn is capable to strengthen blood circulation in coronary and brain vessels, to increase contractility of a myocardium (light positive inotropic effect) and to reduce his excitability (negative bathmotropic effect). biologically active agents of extract of a hawthorn promote increase in tolerance of a myocardium to a hypoxia, reduce peripheric vascular resistance and increase endurance of heart concerning physical activities, have antiarrhytmic, hypotensive, gipokholesterinemichesky effect (reduce level hs and tenge in blood).

Drug has ability to strengthen effect of other sedative and sleeping medicines.

Indication

Easy forms of neurotic frustration which are followed by irritability, alarm, sensation of fear, oppression, the fatigue, absent-mindedness increased by nervous irritability; the easy forms of sleep disorder connected with excitement; the headache attacks, migraine caused by nervous tension, easy forms of a dysmenorrhea, a menopausal syndrome; neurocirculatory dystonia with tachycardia, a cardialgia and ag; ag stage i; as a part of complex therapy and prevention chronic ibs, atherosclerosis, ag, supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmia, initial stages of chronic heart failure; dermatosis which is followed by an itch (urticaria, atopic dermatitis, eczema); constant mental strain (manager's syndrome).

Use

Single dose for adults and children is aged more senior than 12 years makes 1–2 tablets 2–3 times a day. at easy forms of insomnia — on 1–2 tablets for 1 h to a dream. the maximum daily dose makes 6 tablets.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to medicine components, the expressed arterial hypotension, the expressed bradycardia, a depression and other diseases which are followed by oppression of activity of central nervous system.

Side effects

Allergic reactions: at patients with individual hypersensitivity to components of medicine the development of allergic reactions, including such symptoms as rash, an itch, urticaria is possible;

from nervous system: dizziness, drowsiness;

from a cardiovascular system: tachycardia or bradycardia, decrease in the ABP are possible;

from digestive system: nausea, vomiting, spasms.

Special instructions

Period of pregnancy and feeding by a breast. it is not recommended to use medicament because of insufficiency of data on safety of application during pregnancy and feeding by a breast.

Children. Do not apply at children aged up to 12 years.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of vehicles or work with other mechanisms. At use of medicine it is necessary to refrain from control of vehicles and work with potentially dangerous mechanisms.

Interaction

Drug enhances activity of cardiac glycosides (digoxin) and also effect of spasmolysants, hypnotic medicaments and sedatives. it is not necessary to use medicament together with antiarrhytmic means of iii of generation.

Drug can exponentiate pharmacological effects of analgetic, antihypertensive medicines and also strengthens effect of alcohol.

Overdose

Symptoms: a headache, dizziness, fatigue, slackness, depression, weakness, decrease in working capacity and concentration of attention, drowsiness, an abdominal pain, nausea, a tremor of hands, expansion of pupils, feeling of compression in a breast, bradycardia, decrease hell; treatment: immediate phase-out of medicine and in time the taken measures of the emergency help (gastric lavage, use of activated carbon and means of desensitization) and also symptomatic treatment promote fast elimination of clinical manifestations of overdose.
