Structure and form of release

Active ingredient: naphazoline nitrate.

Structure

• 1 ml of solution contains nitrate of naphazoline of 1 mg;
• additional substances: boric acid, ethylene diamine, methylparaben (E 218), the water purified.

Drop nasal, solution.

Pharmacological properties

Naphazoline - medicine which stimulates sympathetic nervous system and influences α-adrenoceptors. Owing to vasoconstrictive effect of medicine sanorin hypostasis, hyperaemia, exudation decrease that promotes simplification of nasal breath at rhinitis. Naphazoline promotes opening and expansion of the removing channels of adnexal bosoms of a nose and Eustachian tubes that improves outflow of a secret and prevents sedimentation of bacteria.

At topical administration.

Therapeutic action comes within 5 min. and continues 4–6 h at intranasal application.

Indication

Acute rhinitis, inflammation of adnexal bosoms of a nose, average otitis. for reduction of hypostasis at diagnostic and medical procedures.

Use

Drop 1mg/ml. The adult aged from 15 years dig in 1–3 drops in each nasal course. Drug 3 times a day with an interval dig in in the nasal courses not less than 4 h. It is not recommended to apply at children of 3 days, and adult - 5 days. If there comes simplification of nasal breath, application can be stopped earlier. Repeatedly it is possible to apply Sanorin only in several days.

With the diagnostic purpose in nasal endoscopy (for example for diagnostics and treatment of nasal polyps) is dug in on 3–4 drops in each nasal course after cleaning of a nose.

When burying in the left nasal course slightly incline the head to the left, and when burying in the right nasal course - to the right.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to medicine components; dry inflammation of a mucous membrane of a nose; children's age up to 15 years for drops of 1 mg/ml.

Drug contains methylparaben which can cause allergic reactions (including remote in time), including rash, erubescence, an itch, breath difficulty, dry cough, increase in respiration rate.

In rare instances the feeling of strong congestion of a nose after action ends can arise.

from nervous system: nervousness, headache, tremor.

from a cardiovascular system: tachycardia, heartbeat, AG.

from skin and hypodermic cellulose: the increased sweating.

These side effects arise mainly owing to overdose. Children have a nasal use of medicine of 5 days for adults or 3 days or very frequent application can cause accustoming to medicament which is followed by a rhinedema soon after its application.

Prolonged use of medicine can lead

to damage of a mucous membrane of a nose with decrease in tsiliarny activity, to irreversible injury of a mucous membrane of a nose and to dry inflammation of a mucous membrane of a nose.

Special instructions

use Drug with extra care at a serious illness of a cardiovascular system (ag, ibs), at diabetes, a hyperthyroidism, a pheochromocytoma and along with Mao's inhibitors and other potentially hypertensive preparta. the care is necessary when carrying out the general anesthesia using the anesthetics increasing sensitivity of a myocardium to sympathomimetics (for example a halothane) and also at oh, during pregnancy and feeding by a breast. at use of medicine in high doses the development of such side effects from cardiovascular and nervous system is possible as heart consciousness, ag, arrhythmia, a headache, vertigo, insomnia, drowsiness.

to Avoid prolonged use at adults and children. Long use of medicine can result in chronic congestion of a nose and a mucosal atrophy of a nose.

Period of pregnancy and feeding by a breast

Drug is admissible to be applied in exceptional cases only on doctor's orders which will define a ratio of advantage and possible risk. There is no information concerning nitrate naphazoline penetration through a placenta or in breast milk.

Children

Drop of 1 mg/ml at children aged 15 years are more senior.

to Drivers

Use of medicine in the recommended doses does not affect ability to control of vehicles and work with mechanisms.

Interaction

Use of medicine along with Mao's inhibitors, tricyclic antidepressants, Maprotilinum or for several days after cancellation of the last can cause increase hell.

Overdose

Overdose or accidental ingestion of medicine can cause systemic side effect which is shown by the nervousness increased by perspiration, a headache, a tremor, tachycardia, heart consciousness, ag. cyanosis, nausea, fever, spasms, heart attack, a fluid lungs, violation of breath and mental violations are also possible. the oppressing influence on central nervous system is shown by such symptoms as a hypothermia, bradycardia, the increased perspiration, drowsiness, shock as hypotensive, an apnoea, a coma. symptomatic treatment. the risk of overdose increases at children who are more vulnerable to negative impact, than adults.
