at the very beginning of 1988, in January Michel Kretu and Sandra got married and moved from Munich to a fertile terrestrial corner - to the Spanish island of Ibiza. The choice was not accidental because on Ibiza the new dancing directions at that time arose, from Ibiza fashionable London DJs went, to Ibiza all so-called progressive youth of Europe gathered to hang out, and some arrived even from America. Summer of the 1988th in Europe some even compared to the well-known American "summer of love" of the 1967th. Comparison of course is farfetched, but something the general nevertheless was: both in the 1967th, and in the 1988th drugs which were not officially forbidden yet spread. In the 1967th it was the acid, and in the 1988th - "ekstas". In both cases these drugs brought together big and small groups of youth in small groups and created illusion of general love and brotherhood.
However newlyweds came on Ibiza not to hang out, and to work on the next album. Despite the dancing atmosphere of the island, Sandra with Michel send in a new album from the previous direction of electrobottoms, having gone deep into more distinguished forms of pop music. Therefore, in May, 1988 there was a single "Heaven Can Wait" (Heaven can wait) which got to the Top 20 in many countries of Europe, and here and there and above. Singl, as well as all other album, was recorded in the Munich studio of Michel Kretu Data Alpha.
With not smaller success was accepted the second single from an album - "Secret Land" (Secret country) which left in September, 1988. At the heart of it there was absolutely other song under the name "Trenchcoat Man" from the repertoire of the German Fabrique group. At the time Hubert Kemmler, Michel Kretus employee, was a producer of the record Fabrique in 1987. But who knew this Fabrique? And Sandra was known by many in the world. Therefore Kemmler also decided to remake "vanishing in vain" a thing therefore really there was a quite good hit for Sandra and it is even considered one of its best songs.
Third single "Well Be Together" (We will be together) left after an album - in November, 1988. On is remarkable the fact that he was the first fruit of creativity of Sandra, more precisely in this case, coauthorship with permanent authors of her songs - Hubert Kemmler and Markus Lyor. Two more singles left after an album - "Around My Heart" (Around my heart) and "La Vista de Luna". "Around My Heart" as well as all previous got to the Top 20, having provided thus the high place and to the album, and "La Vista de Luna" left as purely advertizing single for some reason only in Spain. From Spanish in it is mute only the name "View of the Moon" though judging by the text it is about some town under La-la-la Vist de Longs name.
Thanks to such set of hit singles and all album Into A Secret Land was very popular in Europe, having got to the Top of 20 many countries.
