• Stagnant heart failure at the patients who are not responding to treatment with other diuretics.
• Essential arterial hypertension, mainly in case of a hypopotassemia (usually in combination with other antihypertensive drugs).
• Cirrhosis which is followed by hypostases and/or ascites.
• Primary hyper aldosteronism.
• Hypostases caused by a nephrotic syndrome.
• Hypopotassemia, in case of impossibility of receiving other therapy.

Structure

Active ingredient: Spironolactonum;

1 tablet contains 50 mg or 100 mg of Spironolactonum;

Excipients: corn starch, calcium hydrophosphate dihydrate, K 25 povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, silicon dioxide colloidal, magnesium stearate.

Contraindication

• Hypersensitivity to active ingredient or any other excipients.
• Use in a combination with Mitotanum as it can block action by Mitotanum.
• Anury, acute renal failure, significant disturbance of azotovydelitelny function of kidneys (glomerular filtration rate <10 ml/min.).
• Heavy renal failure which is followed by an oliguria or an anury (the clearance of creatinine is lower than 30 ml/min. on 1.73 m ² body surfaces and/or creatinine of blood serum is higher than 1.8 mg/dl).
• Hyperpotassemia (potassium level indicators in blood> 5.0 mmol/l).
• Hyponatremia.
• Addison's Disease.
• Hypovolemia or dehydration.
• Simultaneous use of an eplerenon or other kaliysberegayushchy diuretics.
• Period of pregnancy and feeding by a breast.
• APF Inhibitors or blockers of receptors of AT1 in a combination.

Route of administration

Dose is determined individually, depending on weight and degree of a hyper aldosteronism.

Primary hyper aldosteronism. In case of the diagnosed primary hyper aldosteronism medicament it is possible to appoint at a preparation for surgery in a daily dose 100-400 mg.

Overdose

Overdose can cause such states and symptoms as drowsiness/slackness, confusion of consciousness, nausea, vomiting, dizziness or diarrhea. Electrolytic disturbances, arrhythmia, cardiac conduction abnormality.

Treatment of a hyperpotassemia symptomatic, specific antidote does not exist. It is necessary to maintain water and electrolytic and acid-base balance by prescribing of diuretics which remove potassium; parenterally administration of glucose with insulin, in difficult cases - carrying out a hemodialysis.
