Second and final album by Box Of Frogs. The band comprised former Yardbird members Chris Dreja, Paul Samwell-Smith, Jim Mccarty who were joined by former Medicine Head and British Lions guitarist and vocalist John Fiddler. The band’s debut album for epic records featured special guests Jeff Beck and Rory Gallagher, along with harmonica player Mark Feltham and keyboard players Mx Middleton and Geraint Watkins. For their final album John Fiddler departed half way through recording and guest vocalists Ian Dury, Roger Chapman and Graham Parker guested. Strange land also featured guest appearances by guitarists Jimmy Page and Steve Hackett.
