Get Down And Get With It, was the first of an amazing seventeen UK Top 20 hit singles for 70s super group, Wall of Hits has them all! 20 tracks in total.
Slade were a fine band, as this compilation demonstrates. They had a long string of big time hits in the 1970s and 1980s including six number one singles (all of which are included on this CD). Theres barely a duff track among the 20 tracks on this album and most of them are excellent.
The band members fashion sense may have been non existent but their musical abilities were superb. There are the rockers Coz I Luv you, Cum On Feel the Noize and Mama Weer All Crazee Now among others, but then there are also more meaningful tracks such as My Oh My, How Does It Feel and Everyday that lay bare the myth that Slade just churned out catchy pop tunes.
Oh and the iconic Merry Xmas Everybody is here as well, it could hardly have been omitted.
