Adsorbing, drying, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory medicament for external use. Has high hygroscopicity, adsorbs discharges of sweat and sebaceous glands, exudate, reduces friction of skin folds, protects skin from adverse external effect.

Zinc oxide causes a denaturation of proteins and formation of albuminates which suppress process of local inflammation with weakening of pain, narrow blood vessels, condense cellular membranes. Drug reduces expressiveness of the local phenomena of inflammation and irritation.
