Iodide-125 potassium – antidote for prevention of diseases of a thyroid gland during nuclear and technical accidents for the purpose of prevention of radiation.

Indications

It can be recommended in a food allowance only in case of threat of accumulation of radioiodine in a thyroid gland for ensuring protection against influence of radiation.

Before use recommends consultation of the doctor.

to Adults and children aged from 12 years it is recommended to p to use 1 tablet, and to children aged from the 3rd up to 12 years – ½ crushed tablets after a meal, washing down with a small amount of drinking water or milk. Has to define expediency of the repeated use individually.

Contraindication

Individual intolerance of components, children's age up to 3 years, pregnancy and the period of a lactation, a hyperthyroidism, hyperfunction of a thyroid gland, toxic adenoma, a nodular or diffusion toxic craw, herpetiform dermatitis.
