Pantenol-Zdorovye – the medicine promoting healing (scarring) of wounds.

Medicine is applied in the following cases:

• for preventive processing of the dry, reddened skin or skin with cracks;
• for acceleration of healing and epithelization of skin at microdamage (not heavy burns and scratches); at irritation of skin (for example, owing to radiotheraphy, phototherapy or uviolizing); at a diaper dermatitis; at chronic ulcers of skin and decubituses; anal cracks; erosion of a neck of the uterus and after skin transplantation;
• for processing of skin of patients in time and after topical administration of corticosteroids;
• for preventive mammary gland care at nursing and also for treatment of irritations and nipple cracks.

Structure

• active ingredient: dexpanthenol;
• 1 g of medicine contains dekspantenol 50 mg;
• other components: Euxyl® PE 9010 containing 90% of phenoxyethanol and 10% of ethylhexylglycerin (in terms of phenoxyethanol), DL пантолактон, cetostearyl alcohol, potassium cetylphosphate, isopropyl myristate, propyl.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to dekspantenol or to other components of medicine.

Side reactions

from the immune system and also leather and hypodermic fabrics. In rare instances (<1/10000) it was reported about allergic reactions, including from skin: contact dermatitis, allergic dermatitis, itch, erythema, eczema, rash, small tortoiseshell, irritation of skin and bubbles.

Route of administration

Acceleration of healing and epithelization; regular skin care: to apply cream 1 or several times in day depending on requirement.

mammary gland Care at nursing: to apply cream on nipples after each feeding with a breast.

Treatment of defects of a mucous neck of the uterus: to apply cream 1 or several times in day under observation of the doctor.

Care for babies: to apply cream after each change of diapers (diaper).

Medicine quickly gets into skin, suitable for care for the becoming wet wounds unprotected by the surfaces of skin (face) and hairy sites of skin. It is easily distributed on a surface therefore it is suitable for treatment of painful solar and other heavy burns.

Feature of application

At use of medicine should avoid contact with eyes.

cetostearyl alcohol and lanolin can cause local skin reactions (for example, contact dermatitis). Propylene glycol can cause irritation of skin.

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast

Is not present any bases to consider that use of medicine during pregnancy or feeding by a breast risky. During pregnancy, medicament should be used on doctor's orders.

At application for treatment of nipple cracks during feeding by a breast cream should be washed away before feeding.

Children

Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or other mechanisms

Overdose

Even inadequate application bigger, than is recommended, does not lead amount of medicine to toxic side reactions.
