• Disease, followed by disturbance of process of digestion of food owing to insufficient discharge of digestive enzymes pancreas, such as chronic pancreatitis.
• State after a simultaneous resection of a stomach and a small intestine, functional acceleration of passing of food through intestines, intestines disorders, simultaneous consumption of tyazheloperevarivayemy vegetable, greasy and unusual food.
• Swelling of intestines and preparation for X-ray or ultrasonic diagnostic tests.

Structure

Active ingredient: Pancreatinum;

1 tablet gastrorezistentny contains Pancreatinum with enzymatic activity not less than 10,000 lipolytic PIECES of Ph. Eur., 7,500 amylolytic PIECES of Ph. Eur., 400 proteolytic PIECES of Ph. Eur.;

Excipients: sodium chloride, silicon dioxide colloidal anhydrous, cellulose microcrystalline, krospovidon, sodium of a kroskarmeloz, povidone 25, magnesium stearate, methacrylate copolymer dispersion, talc, propylene glycol, titan dioxide (E 171), karmoizin (E 122).

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to active agent and other components of drug. Acute pancreatitis, exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis, intestinal impassability.

Route of administration

Dose of medicament depends on deficiency of pancreatic enzymes in a duodenum and is established individually.

Overdose

Symptoms. Strengthening of side effects is possible. During reception of extremely high doses of other medicaments from powder of pancreases the hyperuricemia and a hyper uricosuria were observed, children have a constipation.

Treatment. Termination of administration of drug, sufficient hydration and symptomatic therapy.

Side effects

• from a cardiovascular system: frequency is unknown: tachycardia.
• from the immune system: very seldom: allergic reactions of immediate type (skin rashes, itching, sneezing, dacryagogue, bronchospasm), anaphylactic reactions. Frequency is unknown: dye karmoizin (E 122) can cause allergic reactions.
• from digestive tract: very seldom: at use of high doses of Pancreatinum (over 10000 PIECES of Ph. Eur. weight lipases/kg bodies/day) can be formed narrowings in the ileocecal site and in the ascending part of a colon; diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, change of nature of excrements; development of impassability of intestines, a constipation is possible.
• from skin and hypodermic fabrics: frequency is unknown: urticaria, hyperaemia, itching, Quincke's disease.
• from an urinogenital system: frequency is unknown: perhaps raised discharge of uric acid with urine, especially at use of high doses of Pancreatinum. In order to avoid formation of urate concrements at such patients it is necessary to control its content in urine.
• General disturbances: frequency is unknown: feelings of heat, general weakness.

Interaction

Drug reduces absorption of iron at prolonged use therefore in case of need it is necessary to appoint iron preparations at the same time. Simultaneous use of the antiacid means containing calcium a carbonate and/or magnesium hydroxide can lead to decrease in efficiency of Pancreatinum.

Enzymes of a pancreas oppress absorption of folic acid. At a concomitant use of bicarbonates and Cimetidinum with high doses of enzymes of a pancreas it is recommended to carry out periodically the analysis of concentration of salts of folic acid in blood serum and to provide additional intake of folic acid if it is necessary.

Enzymes of a pancreas can reduce efficiency of acarbose and a miglitol.
