Ortserin kaps. 50 mg No. 30

tablets "Ortserin" are shown to use for treatment of patients with symptoms of an osteoarthritis of a hip or knee, with the postponed effect.

Structure

One capsule contains (active ingredient) of a diatserein of 50 mg.

Excipients: cyclodextrins, sodium lauryl sulfate, lactoses monohydrate, sodium of a kroskarmelloz, silicon dioxide colloidal anhydrous, magnesium stearate; structure of the capsule: diamond blue (E 133), Ponso 4R (E 124), quinolinic yellow (E 104), titan dioxide (E 171), sodium lauryl sulfate, methylparahydroxybenzoate (E 218), propilparagidroksibenzoat (E 216), gelatin.

Contraindication

• hypersensitivity to components of medicament or to anthraquinone derivatives in the anamnesis;
• a disease of a liver, available or in the anamnesis;
• inflammatory intestinal diseases (nonspecific ulcer colitis, Crohn's disease);
• intestinal impassability or pseudo-impassability;
• abdominal pain of uncertain origin;
• period of pregnancy and feeding by a breast.

Route of administration

Treatment there have to begin only the doctors having experience of treatment of an osteoarthritis.

Within the first 2-4 weeks of treatment on one capsule (50 mg) together with evening meal, washing down with water. About 2-4 weeks of treatment the dose of medicament is increased to 100 mg a day in 2 receptions (on one capsule in the morning and in the evening at meal time). Diatserein has initial activity, slow with a delay, and effect of residual action after the treatment termination therefore Ortserin it is necessary to apply within at least 2-4 weeks before emergence of the first positive effect. Positive symptomatic action remains within 3 months after the use period. Considering the disease nature, the long course of treatment - not less than 3 months which can be repeated if symptoms appear is recommended. Duration of a course of treatment is established by the doctor individually.

Overdose

At accidental or deliberate reception of high doses of a diatserein can arise diarrhea. Specific antidote does not exist. Urgent treatment consists in recovery of electrolytic balance.
