Tablets "Orgametril ^® " are applied at the following indications:

• polymenorrhea;
• menorrhagia and metrorrhagia;
• separate cases of primary or secondary amenorrhea and an oligomenorrhea with insufficient levels of endogenous estrogen;
• endometriosis;
• benign tumors of mammary glands;
• separate cases of a carcinoma of endometrium;
• suppression of an ovulation, pain at an ovulation and periods;
• for a delay of normal periods;
• as addition to therapy with estrogen during the period peri- and postmenopauses - for the purpose of prevention of a hyperplasia of endometrium.

Structure

Active ingredient - lynestrenol (linestrenol) (one tablet contains 5 mg of a linestrenol).

Excipients: potato starch; alpha tocopherol, glycerin; magnesium stearate; talc; lactose, monohydrate.

Contraindication

• hypersensitivity to active ingredient or to any of the excipients which are a part of medicine "Orgametril ^® ";
• period of pregnancy or its probability;
• severe forms of a disease of a liver, for example cholestatic jaundice or hepatitis (or a serious illness of a liver in the anamnesis in the absence of normalization patholologically the changed indicators of functional trials of a liver), hepatocellular tumors, a syndrome of the Rotor and a syndrome the Cudgel Johnson;
• a state which intake of sex steroid hormones influences and which for the first time arose or worsened during pregnancy or during treatment by sex steroid hormones, for example a severe itch, cholestatic jaundice, herpes at pregnant women, a porphyria and an otosclerosis;
• venous thromboembolic violations in an active phase;
• vaginal bleeding of an unspecified etiology.

Route of administration

Tablet "Orgametril ^® " should be applied inside and it is desirable to wash down with water or other liquid.

Passed dose should be accepted as soon as possible, except for cases when there passed more than 24 hours after the admission of reception of a tablet.

Polymenorrhea: on one tablet a day with 14th on the 25th days of a cycle.

Menorrhagia and metrorrhagia: on two tablets within 10 days. In most cases bleeding stops in several days after an initiation of treatment. To repeat treatment during 3 menstrual cycles, accepting on one tablet a day from the 14th to the 25th day of each cycle. If complaints do not disappear during treatment or after its termination, it is necessary to perform further examination of the patient.

Separate cases of primary or secondary amenorrhea and an oligomenorrhea with insufficient levels of endogenous estrogen. It is necessary to begin treatment with use of estrogen, for example, on 0.02-0.05 mg of ethinylestradiol a day within 25 days. Together with it "Orgametril ^® " to accept one tablet of medicine daily from the 14th to the 25th day of a cycle. In most cases bleeding of cancellation begins within 3 days after the treatment termination. Estrogen to restore treatment for the 5th day of bleeding of cancellation and to prolong till 25th day of a cycle. Further again from the 14th to the 25th day of a cycle to apply on one tablet of medicine "Orgametril ^® ". It is necessary to repeat such treatment during at least one more cycle.

Endometriosis: on 1-2 tablets a day within at least 6 months.

Benign tumors of mammary glands: on one tablet a day daily from the 14th to the 25th day of a cycle within at least 3-4 months.

Separate cases of a carcinoma of endometrium: till 6-10 tablets in day during the long span.

Suppression of an ovulation, pain at an ovulation and periods. It is the best of all to begin treatment with application on one tablet a day in the 1st day of a cycle, but not later than for the 5th day of a cycle. Treatment should be continued within many months (taking the medicament daily, without days of the admission). If, despite treatment, there is break bleeding, the medicament dose should be raised to the 2nd or 3rd tablets in day within 3-5 days.

For a delay of normal periods. It is the best of all to begin treatment with application on one tablet a day in two weeks prior to the expected beginning of periods. If to begin a course of treatment less than in one week prior to the expected beginning of periods, then the dose has to make 2-3 tablets a day. In this case the delay more than for one week is undesirable. If to begin a course of treatment later, the possibility of breakthrough bleeding raises. Thus, treatment should not be begun later than in 3 days prior to the expected beginning of periods.

As addition to therapy with estrogen during the period peri- and postmenopauses - for the purpose of prevention of a hyperplasia of endometrium: on one tablet a day within 12-15 days a month (for example within the first 2 weeks of each calendar month). The estrogenic medicament should be taken daily, without days of the admission, in a minimal effective dose.

Drivers

At control of motor transport or other mechanisms is recommended to be careful as at some patients it was reported about developing of dizziness.

Overdose

Toxicity of a linestrenol very low. In case of overdose (for example if the child takes several pill at the same time) developing of intoxication is not expected. There can be such symptoms as nausea and vomiting. There is no need for performing specific treatment. If it is necessary, it is possible to perform symptomatic treatment.
