Omeprazol-Tev's capsules are appointed at the following indications:

• At adults:
  • treatment and prevention of a recurrence of an ulcer of a duodenum and the benign stomach ulcer including connected with intake of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicaments (NPVS);
  • an eradikation of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) at a round ulcer in a combination with the corresponding antibiotics;
  • treatment of a gastroesophageal reflux disease, including reflux esophagitis;
  • treatment of a syndrome of Zollingera-Ellison.
• Children since 1 and with a body weight of ≥10 kg:
  • treatment reflux esophagitis;
  • symptomatic treatment of heartburn and acid regurgitation at a gastroesophageal reflux disease.
• Children since 4 years in a combination with antibiotics treatment of an ulcer of the duodenum caused by H. pylori.

Structure

Active ingredient: omeprazolum;

1 capsule contains 20 mg or 40 mg of omeprazolum as a part of gastrorezistentny capsules;

Excipients: sugar spherical, povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, starch sodium (type A), sodium phosphate, a gipromelloza, triethyl citrate, methacrylate copolymer (type A), sodium hydroxide, the titan dioxide (E 171), talc, erythrosine (E 127) *, indigotin (E 132) *, the titan dioxide (E 171) *, the water purified * gelatin * quinoline yellow (E 104) *.

Structure blackened

: shellac, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol, butyl alcohol, povidone, sodium hydroxide, titan dioxide (E 171).

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to omeprazolum, the substituted benzimidazoles or to any excipient. Omeprazolum, as well as other inhibitors of the proton pump (IPP), it is not necessary to apply along with nelfinaviry.

Route of administration

Is recommended to accept capsules in the morning, it is desirable to food, without damaging the capsule (capsules should not be chewed or broken), washing down with a half of a glass of water.

For patients with difficulty of swallowing and for children who can drink or swallow of semisolid food. Capsules can be opened and to directly take a sip of contents, washing down with a half of a glass of water, or to mix with subacidic drink, for example fruit juice or apple puree or still water. Such mix needs to be drunk right after preparation or within 30 minutes. Before reception mix should be shaken up and washed down with a half of a glass of water.

As option, patients can rassosat the capsule and swallow granules, washing down with a half of a glass of water. Not to chew a granule with an enterosoluble covering.

It is improbable

that medicine affects ability to steer vehicles or to work with mechanisms. Such undesirable reactions to use of medicine as dizziness and a disorder of vision can be observed. If such frustration are observed, patients should not steer vehicles or work with mechanisms.

Overdose

. In literature dosages up to 560 mg of omeprazolum were described and single messages about achievement of a single oral dose in 2400 mg of omeprazolum are received (120 times higher than the usual recommended clinical dose). It was reported about nausea, vomiting, dizziness, abdominal pain, diarrhea and a headache. Also in isolated cases it was reported about apathy, a depression and confusion of consciousness.

Described symptoms have fast-passing character. Clearance rate does not change (kinetics of the first order) with increase in a dose. Treatment if necessary symptomatic.

Side effects

Most frequent side effects are a headache, abdominal pain, a lock, diarrhea, an abdominal distension and nausea/vomiting.

Interaction

Omeprazolum, as well as other inhibitors of the proton pump (IPP), it is not necessary to apply along with nelfinaviry.
