For prevention of airsickness of Noofen are appointed once in a dose by 500 mg in 1 h before flight.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to drug. opn. the composition of medicine noofen in the form of powder of 500 mg, No. 30, includes aspartame, a phenylalanine source. its application contraindicated sick with phenylketonuria.

Side effects

from nervous system: drowsiness (in an initiation of treatment), a headache and dizziness (in doses it is higher than 2 g/days, at a dose decline the severity of side effects decreases).

from a liver and biliary tract: hepatotoxicity (at prolonged use in high doses).

Special instructions

Ability to influence speed of response at control of vehicles or work with other mechanisms. To patients at whom note drowsiness dizziness or other violations from central nervous system, during treatment it is impossible to steer vehicles or to work with other mechanisms.

Interaction

Noofen can be combined with psychotropic medicines, reducing doses of a noofen and the medicines applied with it.

Noofen strengthens

and prolongs effect of sleeping, narcotic, antipsychotic and protivoparkinsonichesky medicines.

Overdose

Noofen malotoksichen, only in a daily dose of 7-14 g at prolonged use it can have hepatotoxic action. the specified doses considerably exceed recommended (an average therapeutic daily dose — 0.5-2.5 g). only at the highest applied dose sometimes noted an eosinophilia and fat dystrophy of a liver. at application, medicine in lower doses of such changes was not.

Symptoms: drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, development of arterial hypotension, OPN is possible.

Treatment: gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy. At complications (arterial hypotension, a renal failure) carry out additional therapy.
