Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics. nokspry — α-адреномиметик, derivative imidazoline, treats to group of local vasoconstrictors. narrows vessels in the site of application, reduces a rhinedema and the upper airways, reduces discharges from a nose. restores nasal breath. elimination of a rhinedema promotes restoration of aeration of adnexal bosoms, a tympanic cavity that prevents development of bacterial complications. oxymetazoline renders antiviral, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and antioxidant action. thanks to this combined mechanism of action the fast and effective elimination of symptoms of sharp rhinitis was observed (congestions of a nose, a rhinorrhea, sneezing, the worsened health). at topical nasal administration in therapeutic concentration does not irritate a mucous membrane of a nose, does not cause hyperaemia. the essential oils which are a part of medicine promote elimination of feeling of irritation of a mucous membrane of a nose, protect it from excessive drying.

Pharmacokinetics. It was not studied.

Indication

Acute respiratory diseases which are followed by congestion of a nose. sharp rhinitis. allergic rhinitis. vasomotorial rhinitis. for restoration of a drainage and nasal breath at diseases of adnexal bosoms of a nasal cavity, an eustachitis. for elimination of hypostasis before diagnostic manipulations in the nasal courses.

Use

Noksprey, nokspry asset. to adults and children 6 years are aged more senior to apply on 1 injection in each nasal course 2–3 times a day. above recommended to use doses only under observation of the doctor. to use medicament no more than 5-7 days. medicament can be used repeatedly only in several days.

for application in a nose. To babies aged up to 4 weeks, medicament is used on 1 drop in each nasal course by 2–3 times a day. To children aged from 5 weeks till 1 year appoint 1–2 drops in each nasal course 2–3 times a day within 5–7 days.

Noksprey Detsky. To children aged from 1 year up to 6 years — on 1 injection in each nasal course 2–3 times a day. Above recommended to use doses only under observation of the doctor. To use medicament no more than 5-7 days. Drug can be used repeatedly only in several days.

Children. Noksprey Malysh apply to children aged till 1 year. Noksprey Detsky children should appoint aged from 1 year up to 6 years. Noksprey and Noksprey Aktiv apply to children aged from 6 years.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to medicine components, atrophic rhinitis, at use of inhibitors of Mao and during 2 weeks after the treatment termination by Mao's inhibitors and also other medicines promoting increase hell with the increased intraocular pressure, especially at closed-angle glaucoma, at severe forms of cardiovascular diseases (for example ibs, ag), a pheochromocytoma, metabolic violations (hyperthyroidism, diabetes, a porphyria), a prostatauxe.

Side effects

from a respiratory system: discomfort in a nose, burning or xeromycteria, feeling of strong congestion in a nose (reactive hyperemia), sneezing, nasal bleeding, an apnoea at newborns and children of younger age, especially in case of overdose.

from nervous system: headache, drowsiness, fatigue, slackness, insomnia, concern, spasms, hallucinations, dizziness, nausea, vomiting.

from a cardiovascular system: topical nasal administration of medicine can cause system effects (feeling of interruptions in cardiac performance, tachycardia, AG).

from the immune system: emergence of allergic reactions, including rashes, the nagger, a Quincke's disease is possible.

Tip of a nozzle of a bottle to enter

into each nasal course and to press sharply 1 time a bottle. during injection of air to involve a nose. it is not necessary to reject the head back and to overturn a bottle at medicine injection (the bottle is disciplined vertically). for prevention of spread of an infection several persons should not use one bottle.

needs to avoid prolonged use and overdose of medicine. Prolonged use of antiedematous for a nose can lead to weakening of effect of medicine. Abuse of this means can cause atrophic rhinitis, a mucosal atrophy and a reactive hyperemia with medicamentous rhinitis. After use of medicine the special observation of patients with chronic rhinitis and in case of elimination of hypostasis before diagnostic manipulations is necessary. Doses, above recommended, are required to be applied only under observation of the doctor. Duration of continuous use of medicine should not exceed 7 days.

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast. Use of medicine is possible with extra care in case, according to the doctor, the expected advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for the fruit/child. Exceeding the recommended dose is not allowed.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of vehicles or work with other mechanisms. After prolonged use of medicine in the doses exceeding recommended it is impossible to exclude the general influence on a cardiovascular system. In such cases the ability to steer the vehicle can go down.

Interaction

Drug should not be used along with other local vasoconstrictors and means for intranasal application (frequency of development of side reactions increases), with Mao's inhibitors and other medicines promoting increase hell because of risk of emergence ag.

Overdose

At considerable overdose or at accidental intake such symptoms can arise: a mydriasis or a miosis, nausea, vomiting, cyanosis, pallor, the increased sweating, a hyperthermia, spasms, tachycardia, feeling of interruptions in cardiac performance, arrhythmia, cardiovascular insufficiency, ag, respiratory frustration, a fluid lungs, cardiac arrest, a hyposmia, agitation, spasms, mental disorders. besides, the oppression of the central nervous system functions which is followed by drowsiness, decrease in body temperature, bradycardia, arterial hypotonia, an apnoea and possible development of a coma is possible.

Therapeutic actions at overdose: gastric lavage, intake of activated carbon, IVL if necessary. In case of AG the application of vazodilatator (phentolamine, Sodium nitroprussidum) is required. It is not necessary to apply angiotonic means. In case of need at excitement to appoint benzodiazepines, to carry out anticonvulsant therapy by benzodiazepines and/or barbiturates.
