Knowledge Zenith ZSN PRO X – an updated version of the rather popular KZ ZSN PRO hybrids. Among the innovations, the listener is offered more comfortable sound (with less bright high frequencies), a refreshed design and a completely new cable.

The headphone housings are made of a combination of translucent plastic and zinc alloy, painted in a striking black color. It is noteworthy that not only the faceplates, but also the sound guides are painted black, which together creates a pleasant aesthetic composition. It is also worth noting that the headphones in question, in addition to the original design, can also boast ease of wearing, which is the merit of the anatomical shape and moderate dimensions of the bowls. As for the cable used, here again the manufacturer has earned high marks, because the ZSN PRO X is equipped with a more elegant (compared to previous KZ models) braided profile made of silver-plated copper. The selected earhooks are static (without memory effect); connectors – 2-pin; audio jack – 3.5 mm, L-shaped.

Inside each case there are 2 drivers: a 10 mm speaker and an armature tweeter, complemented by an active crossover board. In terms of direct sound characteristics, the model continues the acoustic paradigm revered by KZ engineers, based on a V-shaped frequency response - with forced bass and noticeably emphasized high frequencies. By the way, the bass plays tightly, legibly and informatively, while the accentuated high frequencies sound cheerful, ringing and detailed, as a result of which the overall sound signature of the KZ ZSN PRO X can rightly be called light rather than dark. Mid frequencies (in turn) will delight the listener with the natural color of the tonal range, a developed palette of textures and proper emotionality. The story about the audio potential of the headphones is completed by their fairly spacious stereo panorama, previously found in more expensive IEMs.
