Simply plug the adapter into a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port on your Mac or iPad and then to your TV or projector using an HDMI cable (sold separately).

You can connect a flash drive, camera, or USB cable to a standard USB port to sync and charge iOS devices. And by connecting the charging cable to the USB-C port, you can charge your Mac or iPad.
