Methyluracil of the tab. of 0.5 g No. 10

tablets "Methyluracil" are applied at a granulotsitarny tonsillitis, an alimentary and toxic aleukia, chronic benzene intoxication, the leukopenia caused by chemotherapy of tumors, rentgeno-either radiotheraphy or other factors. In complex treatment of wounds, which inertly healing; burns; trophic ulcers; bone fractures; peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum.

Structure

Active ingredient - methyluracil (one tablet contains methyluracil 500 mg).

Excipients: potato starch, povidone (polyvinylpirrolidone low-molecular medical), stearic acid.

Contraindication

• hypersensitivity to methyluracil or other components of medicine;
• at sharp and chronic (usually myeloid) forms of a leukosis, a lymphogranulomatosis, malignant diseases of marrow.

Inside, in time or after a meal, washing down

with a small amount of water.

Recommended dosage:

• adult - 500 mg 4 times a day (if necessary - to 6 times a day);
• to children from 3rd to 8 years - on 250 mg (1/2 tablets 3 times a day);
• to children of 8 years - on 250-500 mg 3 times a day.

Course of treatment is defined by the doctor depending on character and a course of the disease.

Course of treatment at a peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum usually makes 30-40 days, in other cases the course of treatment can be less long.

Children

not to use Drug for treatment of children aged up to 3 years.

Drivers

Information on influence of medicine on ability to steer vehicles and to work with difficult mechanisms is absent. Individual reaction of the patient to medicine will not be found out yet, it is necessary to abstain from control of motor transport or work with mechanisms, considering that during treatment by methyluracil such side reactions from nervous system are possible as dizziness.

Allergic reactions: hyperaemia, face edema, urticaria, spotty enanthesis of the face and neck.
