Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics. the memoplant forte — medicament of plant origin, normalizes a metabolism in cells, rheological properties of blood and microcirculation. improves cerebral circulation and providing a brain with oxygen and glucose, interferes with aggregation of erythrocytes, brakes a factor of activation of thrombocytes. has the dose-dependent regulating impact on the vascular system, stimulates producing the endoteliyzavisimy weakening factor (nitrogen oxide — no), expands small arteries, raises a tone of veins, thereby regulates a krovenapolneniye of vessels. reduces permeability of a vascular wall (antiedematous effect both at the level of a brain, and on the periphery). has antitrombotichesky effect (due to stabilization of membranes of thrombocytes and erythrocytes, influence on synthesis of prostaglandins, reduction of expressiveness of effect of biologically active agents and a platelet activating factor). education of free radicals is interfered also by a floor of cellular membranes. normalizes release, repeated absorption and catabolism of neurotransmitters (Norepinephrinum, a dopamine, acetylcholine) and their ability to combine with receptors. has anti-hypoxemic effect, improves a metabolism in bodies and fabrics, promotes accumulation in cells of makroerg, increase in utilization of oxygen and glucose, normalization of mediator processes in central nervous system.

Pharmacokinetics. Active ingredient — a ginkgo of a bilob extract dry standardized (EGb 761 ^® ): 24% of heterosites and 6% of ginkgolidov-bilobalid (ginkgolida of A, B and bilobalid C).

At intake the bioavailability of ginkgolid of A, B and bilobalid of C is 80–90%. The C _max is reached in 1–2 h after administration of drug. T _½ makes about 4 h (bilobalid, ginkgolida A) and 10 h (ginkgolid B).

These substances in an organism do not break up, are almost completely removed with urine, insignificant quantity — with a stake.

Indication

Cognitive deficit of various genesis (distsirkulyatorny encephalopathy (dementia) — owing to a stroke, craniocereberal injuries, at advanced age which is shown by disorders of attention and/or memory, decrease in mental abilities, sensation of fear, a sleep disorder) and neurosensory deficit of various genesis (senile degeneration of a macula lutea, a diabetic retinopathy); the alternating lameness at chronic obliterating arteriopatiya of the lower extremities (ii degree according to Fontaine); disorder of vision of vascular genesis, decrease in its sharpness; a hearing disorder, a ring in ears, dizziness and lacks of coordination of mainly vascular genesis; Reynaud's syndrome.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to medicament components.

Side effects

from a digestive tract, including the dispeptic phenomena, nausea, vomiting.

from nervous system: headache, dizziness.

Allergic reactions, including reddening, hypostasis, an itching, rashes.

After long-term treatment the Memoplanty fort in some cases were noted by bleedings.

Special instructions

First signs of improvement of a state appear in 1 month from an initiation of treatment. it is impossible to exclude that the medicaments containing extract from leaves of a ginkgo of a bilob promote developing of spasms at patients with epilepsy.

As this medicine contains lactose, it is contraindicated to patients with a congenital galactosemia, a sprue of glucose or a galactose or deficiency of lactase.

Use during pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Due to the lack of clinical data medicament is not recommended to be used during pregnancy and feeding by a breast.

Ability to influence the speed of reactions at control of vehicles or other mechanisms. During treatment it is necessary to be careful at control of vehicles or work with other mechanisms.

Interaction

Cannot exclude interactions with the medicines oppressing fibrillation. during double blind placebo - the controlled research conducted with participation of 50 subjects within 7 days, interaction of egb 761® (day dose of 240 mg) with acetylsalicylic acid (day dose of 500 mg) is not revealed.

Overdose

any cases of overdose.
