Ointment "Lokoid ^® " is applied at the following indications:

• superficial not infected dermatosis which is treated by local corticosteroids (eczema, allergic and contact dermatitis, neurodermatitis, psoriasis);
• continuation of treatment or maintenance therapy of a dermatosis to which treatment in the past strong corticosteroids were applied.

Structure

Active ingredient - a hydrocortisone 17 butyrate (1 g of ointment contains 1 mg of a hydrocortisone 17 butyrates).

Excipient - oleogel polyethylene.

Contraindication

• injury of skin, caused by bacterial infections (for example, a pyoderma, syphilitic or tubercular defeats), viral infections (for example, chicken pox, the herpes simplex surrounding herpes, a wart ordinary, a wart flat, a condyloma, a contagious mollusk); the infections caused by fungi and yeast; parasitic infections (for example, mange);
• cankers of skin, wound;
• side reactions caused by corticosteroids (for example, perioral dermatitis, striya);
• ichthyosis, juvenile bottom dermatosis, vulgar eels, rozatsea, fragility of vessels of skin, skin atrophy;
• allergic reactions of hypersensitivity to components of medicine or corticosteroids (the last arise seldom).

Drug to apply

in a small amount to skin 1-3 times a day. At improvement of a state, as a rule, there is enough use of medicine of 1 times a day or 2-3 times a week.

General course dose should not exceed 30-60 g a week.

For ensuring the best therapeutic effect can apply an occlusive bandage.

Pregnant

Corticosteroids get through a placenta. Now there is no accurate information on development of teratogenic effects in the person, similar to those that were observed in animal experiments. At system application of high doses of corticosteroids it was reported about influence on a fruit or the newborn child (a growth inhibition in a uterus, adrenocortical suppression). Despite small amount of information on application of corticosteroids on skin of the person during pregnancy, considering their limited system absorption application of corticosteroids of weak and moderate action (class 1 and class 2), such as hydrocortisone, during the short spans and on limited sites of skin is possible. Above-mentioned effects cannot be excluded at prolonged use or drawing on big sites of skin. It can be done only in the presence of special indications.

can use This medicament women who nurse, only in the conditions of short-term treatment and drawing on small sites of skin. At long-term treatment or drawing on big sites or on the affected skin it is necessary to stop feeding by a breast.

Drivers

Are absent data on influence of medicine on ability to steer motor transport or mechanisms. Emergence of influence is not expected.

Overdose

in case of chronic overdose or the wrong application side effects can arise. If hypercorticoidism symptoms are observed, treatment should be stopped.

Side effects

from the immune system: very seldom (<1/10000, including separate messages) - hypersensitivity.

from an endocrine system: seldom (> 1/10000, <1/1000) - adrenocortical suppression.

from organs of sight: very seldom (<1/10000, including separate messages) - increase in intraocular pressure, increase in risk of developing of a cataract (at topical administration).

from skin and hypodermic cellulose: seldom (> 1/10000, <1/1000) - a contact allergy, pustular an acne; skin atrophy, often irreversible, followed by thinning of epidermis, teleangiectasias, purpura and extensions; depigmentation; rozatseapodobny and perioral dermatitis which is followed or not followed by a skin atrophy; "effect of a ricochet" that can result in steroid dependence; dermatitis and eczema, including contact dermatitis, the slowed-down healing of wounds; hypertrichosis.
