Pharmacological properties

Complex medicine on the basis of officinal herbs with anti-inflammatory, expectorant, mucolytic, spasmolytic and febrifugal properties. apply at inflammatory respiratory diseases. improves secretory function of an epithelium of airways, surface-active properties of pulmonary surfactant, stimulates functions of fibers of an epithelium, influences exudative and proliferative phases of inflammation. dilutes a phlegm and facilitates mucifying from airways. affects mucous membranes of a throat and bronchial tubes as a local antiseptic agent. researches showed that administration of medicament reduces a tone of unstriated muscles of bronchioles and a trachea, increases the size of bronchioles and alveolar sacks, reduces puffiness of mucous membranes. reduction of severity of cough is noted in 3–4 days of administration of drug.

Indication

Treatment of inflammatory respiratory diseases as symptomatic therapy. stopping of cough.

Use

Syrup: the adult appoint on the 2nd teaspoons (10 ml) of syrup 3–4 times a day. to children at the age of 2–10 years — on 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of syrup 3–4 times a day. to children from 6 months to 1 year — on 1/2 teaspoons (2.5 ml) of syrup 3–4 times a day. the general duration of treatment — 3–7 days.

Pastil: to adults and children 3 years slowly are aged more senior to rassasyvat before full dissolution on 1 pastil each 2–3 h. The maximum daily dose — 8 pastils.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to one of medicine components, at diabetes. syrup is not recommended to be applied to children aged up to 6 months; pastils — to children under 3 years as they contain menthol.
