Pharmacological properties

Liasten belongs to immunomodulators of natural origin with a broad spectrum of activity. it represents fragments of a cell wall of lactobacilli. liasten stimulates function of macrophages and normalizes quantity of T lymphocytes; activates cells of a monocytic and macrophagic row, phagocytosis, increases activity of lizosomalny enzymes, products of active forms of oxygen, enhances cytotoxic effect of macrophages in relation to tumor cells. medicine strengthens synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines, in particular interleukin-1; increases cytotoxic activity of natural cages killers. the immunomodulatory activity of a liasten is shown also that medicine keeps endocrine function of a thymus gland, promotes reduction of the circulating cell-bound immune complexes. liasten promotes stimulation of a leukopoiesis, possesses weak anti-metastatic and antineoplastic action, reduces severity of side effects khimio- and radiation therapy. medicine has no embriotoksichesky, mutagen and teratogenic action.

Indication

Liasten is appointed as immunomodulator at various diseases which are followed by secondary immunodeficience, a leukopenia, in particular at khimio- and radiation therapy of patients of an oncological profile and patients with a leukosis for the purpose of decrease in toxic action of tsitostatik; at intense and chronic radiation injuries; at surgical treatment of oncological diseases and patients of other categories. liasten it is shown at sharp and persistent bacterial and viral infections, for treatment of patients with a leukopenia of various origin.
