Solution for infusions of Levasept is applied to treatment of bacterial inflammatory processes at the adults called by the bacteria sensitive to a levofloksatsin:

• pneumonia;
• complicated infections of urinary tract (including pyelonephritis);
• an infection of leather and soft tissues;
• chronic bacterial prostatitis.

Structure

Active ingredient: levofloxacin;

100 ml of solution support a levofloksatsin of the gemigidrat in terms of levofloxacin of 500 mg;

Excipients: glucose the waterless, hydrochloric acid concentrated sodium hydroxide, water for injections.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to central nervous system disease medicine components (lowered a convulsive threshold, epilepsy) injuries of a sinew, connected with reception of hinolon.

needs to enter Solution of a levofloksatsin by slow infusion 1-2 times a day. The dose depends on a look and weight of an infection and on sensitivity of the activator. Usually after several days of treatment if the condition of the patient allows, it is possible to transfer it from initial introduction to oral administration (tablets of a levofloksatsin of 250 mg or 500 mg). Duration of treatment depends on the course of the disease and has to be no more than 14 days. It is necessary to continue administration of medicine not less than 48-72 hours after disappearance of clinical signs of a disease. Levofloxacin, solution for infusions, is intended only for slow introduction, it is necessary to apply it 1-2 times a day. Duration of introduction has to be not less than 30 minutes for a dose of 250 mg or not less than 60 minutes for a dose of 500 mg.

Use of medicine is contraindicated to children (age up to 18 years) as injury of an articulate cartilage is not excluded.

Drivers

with machines and mechanisms, it is necessary to consider possible undesirable reactions from nervous system (dizziness, drowsiness, confusion of consciousness, a disorder of vision and hearing, violation of processes of the movement, including also during walking).

Overdose

Most important expected symptoms of overdose touch the central nervous system (dizziness, violation of consciousness and convulsive attacks); reactions from a GIT, such as nausea and erosion of mucous membranes. At application of the doses exceeding therapeutic there is a lengthening of a QT interval. In case of overdose it is necessary to make careful observation of the patient, including the ECG.

Infection and invasion: mycoses (and proliferation of other resistant microorganisms).

Interaction

In researches of clinical pharmacology was shown that on pharmacokinetics of a levofloksatsin was not caused any clinically significant influence at application of a levofloksatsin together with the following medicines: calcium carbonate, digoxin, glibenclamide, ranitidine.
