• complicated infections of leather and soft tissues (at above-mentioned infections medicament should be used only when it is considered inexpedient to use antibacterial medicines which are usually recommended for initial treatment of these infections);
• pyelonephritis and the complicated urinary tract infections;
• chronic bacterial prostatitis;
• uncomplicated cystitis.

Structure

Active ingredient - levofloxacin (one tablet contains levofloksatsina the gemigidrat it is equivalent to a levofloksatsin of 500 mg).

Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, starch prezhelatinizirovanny, polysorbate 80, krospovidon, talc, silicon dioxide colloidal waterless, magnesium stearate, hydroksipropilmetiltsellyuloz, titan dioxide (E 171), ferrous oxide red (E 172), ferrous oxide yellow (E 172), propylene glycol, diethyl phthalate.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to a levofloksatsin or other hinolona, to any component of medicine, epilepsy, complaints to side reactions from sinews after preliminary application of ftorkhinolon.

Route of administration

to take the Drug 1 or 2 times a day. The dose depends on type and weight of an infection. Duration of treatment depends on the course of the disease. • exacerbation of chronic bronchitis - 500 mg of 1 times a day (treatment duration - 7-10 days);
• not hospital pneumonia - 500 mg 1-2 times a day (treatment duration - 7-14 days);
• pyelonephritis - 500 mg of 1 times a day (treatment duration - 7-10 days);
• complicated urinary tract infections - 500 mg of 1 times a day (treatment duration - 7-14 days);
• uncomplicated cystitis - 250 mg of 1 times a day (treatment duration - 3 days);
• chronic bacterial prostatitis - 500 mg of 1 times a day (treatment duration - 28 days);
• complicated infections of leather and soft tissues - 500 mg 1-2 times a day (treatment duration - 7-14 days).

Feature of application

Pregnant

due to the lack of researches of impact on a human body and on the basis of the experimental data indicating risk of damage of a ftorkhinolonama of an articulate cartilage of the growing organism, levofloxacin it is impossible to appoint pregnant.

Levofloxacin is contraindicated to women who nurse.

Knows that levofloxacin did not lead to disorders of fertility and reproductive function at rats.

Children

Drug is contraindicated to children aged up to 18 years.

Drivers

during post-marketing application of a levofloksatsin observed effects from the central nervous system, including confusion of consciousness, a spasm, hallucination and a tremor.

in case of overdose symptomatic treatment. It is necessary to carry out monitoring of the ECG as there is a possibility of lengthening of an interval of QT. For protection of a mucous membrane of a stomach it is possible to use antacids. The hemodialysis, including peritoneal dialysis and HAPD, are not effective for removal of a levofloksatsin from an organism. There are no specific antidotes.
