"Led Zeppelin of IV" (Russian. "Lead airship IV") — the fourth studio album of the British rock group Led Zeppelin released on November 8, 1971 on the American label of Atlantic Records. The album, as well as previous, was written down at the British recording studios: "Olympic Sound Studios" and "Island Studios" in London; recording studios of the estate of Headley Grange, to East-Hampshire; mobile recording studio of "The Rolling Stones Mobile Studio", and also at the American recording studio of "Sunset Sound Recorders" (Los Angeles), during the period December, 1970 — February, 1971, July, 1971 (data). The album, as well as all previous, produced musical "brain" of group Jimmy Page who attracted as the engineer and data of the famous British sound engineer and the musical producer Andy Jones, cooperating with group already earlier, in the same quality at record of the previous third studio album "Led Zeppelin of III" (1970) and also as the sound engineer on the Thank You song, at record of the second studio album "Led Zeppelin of II" (1969). Besides, Andy Jones by then, already worked with such performers as Blodwyn Pig, Humble Pie, Gary Wright, Free.
After ambiguous reaction of musical criticism to "Led Zeppelin of III", Page decided not to give the name to a new studio album to check whether it will be possible to sell a plate at the expense of only one music. As envisioned by the musician, on it should not have appeared any information — even about a label or catalog number of a plate. The name of his producer — Jimmy Page — on envelope inside and also the Stairway to Heaven lyrics had to become the only hint about album belonging to Led Zeppelin.

After time an album acquired the status of one of the greatest and influential plates for all history of rock music.
"Led Zeppelin of IV" debuted in UK Albums Chart at number 10, and in a week (two weeks later after the end of a promo-tour) rose by the first position which held for 90 weeks. 1 in charts of Canada. The USA the album reached the 2nd line of charts of Billboard 200 where stayed within five weeks.
Single "Black Dog" / "Misty Mountain Hop" took the 15th position in charts of Billboard Hot 100 and 11 a position in charts of Canada. The single "Rock and Roll" / "Four Sticks" took the 47th position in charts of Billboard Hot 100 and 38 a position in charts of Canada.
