Klivas is a hypolipidemic medicine. GMG-KoA inhibitor - reductases, for treatment of a hypercholesterolemia, prevention of cardiovascular disturbances.

Structure

• 1 tablet contains rosuvastatin of calcium 10.4 mg (in terms of rosuvastatin of 10 mg);
• excipients: mannitol (E 421), sodium of a kroskarmelloz, magnesium hydroxide, calcium carbonate, sodium carbonate anhydrous, silicon dioxide (colloidal hydrophobic), silicon dioxide water, magnesium stearate;
• mix for a film covering: ferrous oxide red (E172), ferrous oxide yellow (E172), ferrous oxide black (E172), polyethyleneglycol, polyvinyl alcohol, talc, titan dioxide (E 171).

Contraindication

• hypersensitivity to rosuvastatin or to any of excipients;
• an active disease of a liver, including permanent increase in serumal transaminases of an unknown etiology and any increase in transaminases in blood serum that exceeds the upper bound of norm (UBN) three times;
• heavy renal failures (clearance of creatinine <30 ml/min.);
• myopathy;
• concomitant use of a combination sofosbuvir/velpatasvir/voksilaprevir;
• concomitant use of cyclosporine;
• period of pregnancy and feeding by a breast

Route of administration

Treatment of a hypercholesterolemia.

Recommended initial dose makes 5 or 10 mg orally 1 time a day as for patients who did not apply statines earlier, and to patients who applied other inhibitors of GMG-KoA-reduktazy before.

Prevention of cardiovascular disturbances.

Knows that during the research reduction of risk of complications from a cardiovascular system the daily dose made 20 mg.

Feature of use

Knows that at the patients accepting rosuvastatin in high doses, especially 40 mg the proteinuria cases (defined on "the test to strips"), mainly canalicular by origin and in most cases temporary or faltering were noted. The proteinuria does not testify to sharp or progressing a disease of kidneys. The undesirable phenomena from kidneys were noted more often at use of a dose of 40 mg. At the patients taking the medicament in a dose of 40 mg, function of kidneys should be checked regularly.

Overdose

Specific treatment of overdose. Symptomatic treatment, maintenance therapy is recommended. Control of function of a liver and the UK levels is necessary. It is improbable that the hemodialysis will be effective.

Side effects

from blood and lymphatic system: thrombocytopenia.

from the immune system: reactions of hypersensitivity, including Quincke's disease.

from nervous system: headache, dizziness, polyneuropathy, memory loss, peripheral neuropathy, sleep disorders, including insomnia and nightmares.

Mental disorders: depression.

from respiratory organs, a thorax and mediastinum: cough, short wind.

from a digestive tract: constipation, nausea, abdominal pain, pancreatitis, diarrhea.

from digestive system: increase in level of hepatic transaminases, jaundice, hepatitis.

from skin and hypodermic cellulose: itching, rash, urticaria.
