began to be interested in music since the childhood and wrote the first song in 11 years. According to memoirs of the elder brother, having learned to play a piano, carried out behind it on 5 - 7:00 in day. Up to 14 years composer and performing skill Cathie reached the level which allowed to think of serious musical career. In 1972 - 1973 wrote down in house conditions of several demo cartridges and tried to offer them to record companies through one of friends of the family. However all these records differed in very poor quality (as the performer remembered later, "on them it was just heard that some girl sings something, accompanying itself on a piano, but at the same time it was impossible to sort neither words, nor melodies"), and at first nobody paid attention to them. In 1973 one of these cartridges fell into David Gilmour hands with Pink Floyd which noticed that it creativity of the young performer rather interesting and offered it the help in production qualitative records. This a demo was pleasant to the management of the EMI company, and offered Cathie the contract which was signed in 1976. The received advance allowed Cathie to buy a second-hand synthesizer. In 1977 she also began to play with own group "KT Bush Band". "Never for Ever" is the 3rd studio album of Kate Bush recorded in 1979 and it is released in 1980. The album became the female performers album first in the history which reached the 1st place in charts of Great Britain. All 3 compositions from this album released singles ("Breathing", "Babooshka" and "Army Dreamers"), entered in Top-20 of the British charts.
