Pharmacological properties

Kardonat — the combined medicament which effect is caused by synergy effects of the components which are its part.

L-carnitine — trimetilammoniyevy (betainovy) derivative γ-amino-β-hydroksimaslyany acid, belongs to means with anabolic action. It is synthesized in a liver, kidneys and central nervous system from amino acids of a lysine and methionine with participation of iron and ascorbic acid, in blood plasma is present at a free form and in the form of atsetilkarnitinovy ethers. The carnitine is the main cofactor and the regulator of metabolism of fatty acids in a myocardium, a liver and skeletal muscles, the only carrier of long-chain fatty acids in a mitochondrion where there is their β-oxidation to atsetil-KoA which is substrate for formation of ATP in a tricarbonic acid cycle. Promotes discharge from cytoplasm of metabolites and toxic substances, improves metabolic processes. In the conditions of normal oxygen providing transfers metabolism of cells to oxidation of fatty acids as most power-intensive substrate; in the conditions of a hypoxia the L-carnitine brings toxic metabolites of fatty acids out of mitochondrions, transferring metabolism of a cell to glucose oxidation, having thus anti-hypoxemic effect. Increases working capacity, accelerates growth, causes increase in muscle bulk and degrowth of fatty tissue due to lipolytic action, reduces peripheral effect of thyroid hormones, contributes to normalization of standard metabolism in a hyperthyroidism. Reduces expressiveness of symptoms of physical and mental fatigue, renders neuro, gepato- and cardiotyre-tread action, shows anti-ischemic action, promoting restriction of a zone of a heart attack, improves processes of transfer of a nervous impulse in synapses and axons by increase in synthesis of sincaline and acetylcholine, glutaminic acid, reduces concentration of ammonia in nervous tissue, stimulates cell-mediated immunity. Eliminates functional disturbances from nervous system at patients with chronic intoxications, including alcoholic genesis, softens an abstinence syndrome course, slows down dystrophic changes of vessels of a retina. The carnitine shows anti-ketogenic action, reducing products of ketone bodies of higher fatty acids.

Lizin — irreplaceable amino acid, takes part in all processes of assimilation and growth, promotes ossification and growth of a bone tissue, stimulates a mitosis of cells, improves an ovogenesis and a spermatogenesis, has direct antiviral effect on herpes simplex viruses.

Coenzyme of 12 vitamin B (Cobamamidum) has anabolic activity, activates exchange of carbohydrates, proteins and lipids, participates in synthesis of labile methyl groups, formation of sincaline, methionine, nucleic acids, creatine, promotes accumulation in erythrocytes of connections with sulfogidrilny groups. As the growth factor stimulates function of marrow that is necessary for a normoblastny erythrogenesis. Cobamamidum contributes to normalization of the broken functions of a liver and nervous system, has anti-ketogenic effect, activates the system of fibrillation, in high doses causes increase in activity of thromboplastin and a prothrombin.

Coenzyme of 1 vitamin B (cocarboxylase) has the regulating effect on exchange processes in an organism. Plays especially important role in carbohydrate and lipometabolism, first of all in oxidizing decarboxylation of ketonic acids (pyroracemic, α-keto-glutaric) and also in a pentozofosfatny way of disintegration of glucose. Reduces the level of milk and pyroracemic acids in an organism, improves digestion of glucose, a trophicity of nervous tissue, shows cardiotyre-tread action.

Coenzyme of 6 vitamin B (piridoksal-5-phosphate) plays an important role in a metabolism, is necessary for normal functioning of the central and peripheral nervous system. Is a coenzyme of a large amount of the enzymes operating on not oxidizing exchange of amino acids (processes of decarboxylation, transamination). Takes part in exchange of tryptophane, methionine, cysteine, glutamic and other amino acids. Is of great importance for exchange of a histamine as histaminase coenzyme, contributes to normalization of lipidic exchange, increases quantity of a glycogen in a liver, improves its detoksitsiruyushchy properties. Catabolizes neuromuscular processes which are especially important at children's age at a delay of intellectual and physical development, at chronic fatigue and an asthenia.

Indication

Adults and children: a physical and intellectual overstrain, including at athletes, decrease in working capacity, an asthenic syndrome, vegeto-vascular dystonia, in the period of a convalescence after the postponed somatic and infectious diseases and also surgeries, atsetonemichesky syndromes of various genesis, a liver disease (hepatitis, cirrhosis), metabolic cardiopathies, chronic heart failure (as a part of complex therapy), for improvement of ossification in complex therapy of osteoporosis and bone fractures.

Children: lag in intellectual and physical development (hypotrophy, anorexia, a growth inhibition).

Adult: peripheral neuritis, neuralgia, radiculopathies, as a part of complex therapy of acute and chronic disorders of cerebral circulation (brain strokes and chronic ischemia of a brain), as a part of complex therapy of an ischemic heart disease (stenocardia, a myocardial infarction), a gipergomotsisteinemiya, as a part of complex therapy of a syndrome of alcohol addiction, including at abstinency, a hyperthyroidism.

In obstetric and gynecologic practice: gestoses of pregnant women, fetoplacental insufficiency and intrauterine growth retardation of a fruit.

to Adults and children of 15 years kardonat are appointed inside on 1–2 capsules by 3 times a day after a meal. to children of 5-15 years appoint on 1 capsule 2 times a day. reception of contents of 1 capsule of 1 times a day is recommended to children at the age of 1–5 years. at use for children of 1-5 years the contents of the capsule should be dissolved previously in 50–100 ml of any fruit juice or sweet water.

Use during pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Drug is used at pregnant women only according to purpose and under careful observation of the doctor. It is unknown whether active ingredients of medicament get into breast milk therefore during feeding by a breast Kardonat it is possible to apply when the existing advantage for mother exceeds potential risk of side effects at the child.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of vehicles or work with other mechanisms. Does not influence.

Interaction

At the combined use with a levodopa the expressiveness of its therapeutic action due to interaction with piridoksaly can decrease. medicament can exponentiate effect of antihypertensives, cardiac glycosides, peripheral vazodilatator, insulin and other gipoglikemiziruyushchy means.
