Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics. medicine renders the local irritating, softening and keratolytic action, promotes improvement of food and growth of hair. salicylic acid which is its part shows antiseptic action, together with the softening effect of castor oil provides removal of dandruff. tincture of pepper siliculose gets into hair sacks and irritates bulbs of hair, stimulating their growth.

Pharmacokinetics. It was not studied.

Indication

Prevention and treatment of a hair loss, removal and prevention of appearance of dandruff.

Use

Drug to rub

in head skin on 1 h before washing of hair, as a rule, not more often than 1 time a week. the course of treatment makes 1–2 months in 3–4 weeks it it is necessary to repeat.

Contraindication

Disease of skin of various character, hypersensitivity of skin to medicine components.

Side effects

Allergic reactions, dryness, peeling, irritation of skin, the contact dermatitis, a small tortoiseshell, an itch demanding medicament withdrawal.

At prolonged use the absorption in a system blood-groove and development of side effects, characteristic of salicylates, is possible

: sonitus, dizziness, pain in epigastriums, nausea, vomiting, acidosis, the Tachypnea.

Children. Not to apply at children aged up to 12 years.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of vehicles and other mechanisms. It is unknown.

Interaction

should not combine Topical administration of the medicines containing salicylic acid with oral administration of the medicines containing acetylsalicylic acid and others npvp. not to appoint along with benzoyl by peroxide and local medicines of retinoids. salicylic acid can increase permeability of skin for other medicines. can strengthen undesirable action of a methotrexate, gipoglikemiziruyushchy effect of the oral antidiabetic medicines derivative of sulphonylurea.

Overdose

At application in high doses can amplify keratolytic action and allergic reactions. symptomatic therapy.
