"Peppermint Twist" - the song is written by Joy Di and Henry Glover, Joey Dee & The Starliters in 1961 is written down and released. Thanks to a povalnym to interest in the dance "twist" and night club in which Di ("The Peppermint Lounge") acted the song became hit No. 1 in US Billboard Hot 100 at the beginning of 1962.
