James Brown – Out Of Sight/Maybe The Last Time (Smash Records – S-1919, USA, 1964).
"Out of Sight" is the rhythm-and-blues song recorded by James Brown in 1964. Eto - the blues from twelve steps written by Brown under the pseudonym "Ted Wright". Stutter, rhythms of a staccato and explosive reeves of tool arrangement were an important evolutionary step in development of funk music.
"Out of Sight" became the third single recorded by Brown for "Smash Records" in the middle of the dispute with its main label of "King". On reached 24 in Billboard Hot 100 and 5 in Cashbox R&B chart. He recorded this song more than a year as the court in its dispute with "King" forbade it to register for "Smash".
"Out of Sight" was one of the first records of Brown in which the saxophonist Maseo Parker played. The Maybe The Last Time song on the party "In" became its last studio recording with support group of The Famous Flames. Besides the single "Out of Sight" appeared on the album of the same name which was quickly removed from sale. On was republished on "King" in 1968 under the name "James Brown Sings Out of Sight".
