Structure

active ingredient: 1 g of ointment contains Cardiospermum Ø of 0.1 g;
additional substances: cetostearyl alcohol (type A) the emulsified, liquid paraffin, paraffin white soft, octyllauryl alcohol, water purified, benzyl alcohol.

Pharmacological properties

Irikar contains natural active agent from a tropical liana of cardiospermum halicacabum (kardiospermum), promoting improvement of symptomatology in the inflammatory diseases of skin which are followed by an itching such as neurodermatitis, allergic skin reactions and professional eczema. at the same time first of all fast reduction of severity of an itching after the short period of use of medicament is noted. under the influence of medicament irikar reddening, hypostasis and inflammation disappear. subsequently also the skins caused by continuous combing a thickening and peeling as eczema disappear.

Indication

Eczema, neurodermatitis, xeroderma with an itching and also symptomatic treatment after a sting of insects.

Use

to Adults and children is aged more senior than 1 year ointment irikar is applied on affected areas of skin a thin layer, slightly rubbing, 3 times a day. medicament is well transferred therefore it is possible to use it a long time. if in 1–2 weeks of medicament treatment the positive therapeutic effect is not noted, the patient should see a doctor.

Hypersensitivity to medicament ingredients.

Side effects

Reaction of hypersensitivity to separate components of drug, irritation of skin, contact dermatitis.

Special instructions

At use of homeopathic medicines perhaps temporary initial aggravation of symptoms. in this case the patient needs to stop administration of medicament and to consult with the doctor.

in case of a long course of the disease or not clear, new complaints or heavy inflammation of skin, purulent damage of skin of rather further use of medicament needs to consult with the doctor. It is necessary to avoid contact with eyes, a mucous membrane and open wounds. It is required to wash up hands after putting ointment. Irikar contains cetostearyl alcohol which can cause irritation of skin.

Use during pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Drug during pregnancy and feeding by a breast should be applied only after careful assessment by the doctor of a ratio advantage for mother/risk to a fruit (child).

Children. Because of insufficiency of clinical data children are not recommended to use medicament aged till 1 year.
