ILLES 1972
ILLES ("Hungarian the Beatles") was
Hungarian fate/bit - group (1960-1973) and was one of the largest
groups in Hungary in the period of a rock boom of the 1960th and the beginning of the 1970th years.
often compare Group to Beatles on duration of its activity,
its art and cultural influence and the remaining popularity.
Group was formed in 1957
After a set of 7-inch singles and the coproduction
in 1968 the first LP was released them.
They united folk music elements with
(at that time) recent trends in style bottoms / fate and managed to become unique in the sounding.
They kept the success thanks to 4 plates before the disintegration in 1973.
Recorded songs in the English and German languages,
and also went on tour across Western Europe and Great Britain,
is rare privilege for the groups which are behind the Iron Curtain.
