Claudius Ivanovn Shulzhenko (was born on March 11, 1906 in Kharkiv — left on June 17, 1984 in Moscow) — the superpopular Soviet variety singer, the actress. Honored actress of the USSR (1971). Participant of the Great Patriotic War.
In May, 1971 "for big achievements in the field of the Soviet variety art" to Moskontsert K.I. Shulzhenkos soloist the Decree of Presidium of the Supreme Council of the USSR gives an honorary title of the honored actress of the USSR, and in June, 1976 it was handed the Order of Lenin. Kogda in 1971 of Shulzhenko gave the rank of the Honoured actress, article was published in the emigrant newspaper "Novoye Russkoye Slovo". In Shulzhenkos life differed in rather whimsical character. Never saved and spent for concert clothes and spirits much, loved expensive perfumery and gave preference to clothes from the famous fashion designers. At the same time it never had own car.

on May 26, 1996 in Kharkiv, to the address — Baykalsky Lane, 1, opened the City museum of K.I. Shulzhenko. The personal belongings, concert suits, documents and other relics belonging to the singer are presented to expositions of the museum.

In 1934 - 1939 – the head of the Leningrad youth variety orchestra. In 1939 - 1941 – the head of Red Army orchestra. In 1941 - 1945 – the chief of front model brass bands. In 1952 - 1955 years – the conductor of variety orchestra of a garden Hermitage in Moscow. In 1956 - 1964 – the conductor of tool ensemble of All-Union radio "Mayak".
