This was recorded at RAK Studios in London in November 2003, at Ocean Way Recording Studios in Los Angeles between spring and winter 2004 and at AIR Studios in London between winter 2004 and April 2005. On Chaos And Creation In The Back Yard, Sir Paul tries something he did on his first self-titled solo album in 1970, hes playing every instrument himself, including the guitar, bass, drums, flugelhorn and harmonium. And to make sure those Beatles days find their way into his new record, McCartney recorded Jenny Wren which he says is the daughter of Blackbird. Co-produced with Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Beck), Chaos And Creation is McCartneys first record since 2001s Driving Rain.
